Artist Statement
Drawing on routine behaviour, habit and social form the everyday is a place of discovery, gifting material to be noted down, reconstructed and presented allowing for new interpretation.
Working across media and rooted in the use of found ephemera, my practice centres around a fascination with the routine of our daily lives and the unremarkable. What is often not said, the passed-over spaces in between and the familiarity of the habitual are what I hold a desire to expose and repurpose, seeking an understanding of the societies we have created, who we are and how we relate to one another.
